New Online Consultation System

Waterfield House Surgery are pleased to announce an update to our Online Consultation service. On Wednesday 17th January 2024, we will be introducing ‘Anima’, which will replace our existing ‘eConsult’ triage system.

To submit your request via Anima you will need to register first. We suggest patients register with Anima before the launch date of 17th January 2024.

Please note that between now and 17th January, if you have a request then please use eConsult. After 17th January eConsult will be disabled and any request submitted (by chance) will not be actioned.

We would like to ask for your patience whilst we transition to Anima as we are aware that introducing any new system may have some teething troubles, however we are not anticipating any disruption.

We have listened to patient feedback and hope you find Anima easier to use. We are really excited about this change and the benefits it will bring to all our patients and staff.

What are the benefits to me as a patient?

As a patient, you will enjoy several advantages with our new online system:

  • Easy Access: Log in effortlessly using either your Anima login or the same NHS login you use on the NHS app. You can check the status and outcomes of your current and past requests.
  • No Doctor Speak: We will ask you questions about your health concerns without using confusing medical jargon.
  • Language Options: You can use the system in multiple languages for your convenience.
  • Complete Medical Records: Your medical records will become more comprehensive, ensuring better care for you in the future.
  • Clearer Responses: Practice responses will be easy to understand.
  • Instant Notifications: Receive text messages and emails notifying you when the practice has responded, so you won't miss important updates (no more emails getting lost in the junk box).
  • Efficient Information Sharing: You can provide all the necessary information the practice needs without waiting on the phone.
