GP Business Administration Apprentice
GP Business administration level 3 Apprenticeship
This is a unique and exciting opportunity for an apprentice administrator in Waterfield House Surgery. Every GP surgery needs an efficient team of administrators/receptionists to ensure every patient experience is a positive one. We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated individuals with a willingness to learn and in return, we will offer you a varied admin work experience in the healthcare sector.
Job responsibilities include:
- To deliver outstanding customer care at all times – to patients and all of the primary health care team
- To develop excellent communication skills – over the telephone and in person
- Make appointments, deal with a range of patient enquiries and queries
- To provide admin support to the primary health care team
- Scan documents into patient records
- Record/code patient data into their electronic health record
- Support the Management team with administrative tasks
Apprenticeship Details:
- Business Administrator, Level 3 Business administrator
- The apprenticeship will be on a fixed term contract of 12-18mths for the duration of the apprenticeship
- Salary will be paid at the current apprenticeship wage currently £12,480 per annum, with potential to earn more with experience.
- You will work 37.5 hours per week with on the job and off the job learning opportunities and receive 6 hours paid study time (1 day a week)
- Holiday leave is 20 days annually plus Bank Holidays
Eligibility:
- English AND Maths Level 2 is essential - GCSE grade C/4 or above, or equivalent Functional Skills Level 2
