The UK is seeing a rising wave of respiratory infections including influenza, RSV and COVID19.

There is a significant increase in influenza activity across the Kent and Medway healthcare system, resulting in increased pressure on Emergency Departments and a rise in staff sickness due to respiratory infections.

To mitigate the impact of this surge and ensure the safety of both patients and staff, the Kent and Medway health system recommends staff and patients to wear face masks.
